The Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación has encouraged with the INNPACTO 2011 help to Centre de Computació de Ponent for the project Ponent NEWMAT.

The main goal of this project is to develop an innovative pneumatic collection sytem that will be functional for the user, energy efficient and environmentally friendly thanks to artificial intelligence systems, remote robots for inspection of transport pipelines and advanced mechanics to increase the effectiveness of the entire system and get a reduced price to compete in international markets.

We invite you to participate in the Fourteenth International Conference of the Catalan Association of Artificial Intelligence (CCIA 2011), which will take place on October 26-28, 2011 at the University of Lleida.

The main goal of this conference is to foster discussion around the last works in Artificial Intelligence which have been developed by the research community of the Catalan Countries, as well as gathering community members.
